9101 Annual Fire Extinguisher Training
Scope and Content: This course exceeds OSHA 29 CFR 1910.157 for portable fire extinguisher training. Through classroom and live fire training, the participant will understand the classes of fire, select the correct extinguisher, and demonstrate extinguishing a small fire. Topics covered include personal safety and using a fire extinguisher, basic chemistry of fire, classes of fire, and emergency action if a fire is discovered. This class will show the type fire extinguisher used at your facility and any special type extinguishers.

9110 Incipient Fire Brigade
Scope and Content: This course provides the fire brigade member with an introductory level of firefighting training. Topics include fire behavior, chemistry of fire, portable fire extinguishers, standpipe systems, use of 1 1/2" fire attack hose lines, and fire streams. This course includes classroom presentations and practical field exercises.
